May 2007

Welcome to a preview of the articles in the May edition of the Content Club.

First we have our regular gardening feature. This month it covers how to plant the perfect hanging basket. Use this to attract garden centres, plant nurseries, specialist plant centres and gardeners. Don't forget to think laterally though. You can approach shed suppliers; DIY and gardening stores; garden designers; lawn mower suppliers; odd job men and even book shops, especially if they're having a push on gardening books which many do at this time of year. Because this is a regular feature it is good for selling three and six month packages.

We also have the third and final part in our series on hosting a children's party. This month we tackle the thorny problem of teenage parties. Obvious advertisers are discos, night-clubs which hold early teen sessions, and party organisers but don't forget fast food outlets (kebab shops, burger bars, Indian takeaways and pizza parlours etc.). Also think about those places which offer teen-party packages such as bowling alleys; go-kart tracks; theme parks and outdoor adventure parks, not to mention stores specialising in teen gifts like computer games, phone shops and clothes shops.

Our third article this month is all about skin-care. It covers facials, including what a facial actually involves and why they are good for the skin. There is also a special feature on the miracle products which are proven to work. This will be a pull for beauty salons, spas and pharmacies which sell skin-care products but don't ignore tanning salons, nail bars, aromatherapists, reflexologists and hair dressers.

Keep Young and Beautiful

Our final article is all about back pain; how to ease it and how to prevent it in the first place. Nearly all of us know someone affected by back pain so there should be a wide range of interested readers. The article talks the reader through the common causes of back pain and what we can do about it. It specifically mentions osteopaths, Alexander technique practitioners, mattresses and activity levels. Use it to target osteopaths and chiropractors, Alexander technique practitioners, mattress and bed suppliers, gyms, exercise classes, yoga classes and office chair suppliers.
